The Creatrix Prophecy
Website review & creative direction · 13 October 2026

An extraordinary object deserves an extraordinary setting

Let the magic
come from
the Creatrix.

The strongest material is already here: the hexagonal cards, intricate artwork, a distinctive system and the person who created it. Give those elements space, build a clear story around them and remove the clutter that makes the experience feel less considered.

Research brief and design recommendations. The live website has not been changed.
01

Make it feel discovered,
not advertised.

A quiet, immersive editorial direction would make the artwork feel more precious and the offer easier to understand.

Keep

The real visual identity

The hexagons, original card imagery, dark navy and restrained gold give the project a recognisable world. Use actual artwork and product photography as the centre of attention.

Simplify

One coherent visual voice

Replace the crowded poster treatment, mismatched pink accents and competing fonts with a consistent system of navy, warm ivory, muted gold, expressive headings and calm body text.

Recommended creative promise

A beautiful, approachable introduction to a physical oracle: 64 hexagonal cards and their companion storybook. The homepage should focus heavily on this box set. Keep the free digital story on its own page, reached through a quiet footer link, and state explicitly that it is not the box set.

02

The things that diminish it.

These are specific observations from the live site, followed by the change that would improve the experience.

ElementWhat is happeningRecommended change
The poster-style hero
High priority
Much of the opening message is embedded in a large image. A Gemini sparkle watermark is visible.Build the headline and buttons as real text. Use a clean, original product image with deliberate breathing room; obtain a watermark-free original asset.
Pink accentsActive navigation, icons and the cookie panel introduce a colour that competes with the navy-and-gold identity.Use warm ivory, muted gold and navy consistently. Keep gold mainly for accents and use a darker ink for readable text.
The mobile cookie panel
High priority
On a 390px-wide screen, the initial panel occupies almost half the screen and obscures the first impression.Use a compact, readable panel with clear choices and open fuller controls separately. Verify the result on a real narrow viewport.
Four competing font familiesMason Serif, Inter, Montserrat and Poppins are present. Inter and Poppins font resources reported load errors in the inspected browser because of cross-origin restrictions.Choose two core families, load them reliably and remove redundant styles. Retain the Mason logo treatment only if the font licence permits it.
The header logoThe inspected header logo is only about 40 × 49px, leaving the identity difficult to read.Use a clean wordmark with a small hexagonal emblem. Make the wordmark legible without taking over the mobile header.
Testimonials and repeated sellingTwo testimonial sections and repeated buying prompts interrupt the story. The Anna Baxter research quote and Jorja “real deal” quote have conflicting attributions between the .au and .com sites.Verify the names against the original endorsements. Create one strong proof section with the supplied review and a few accurately attributed testimonials. Repeat the main purchase action at meaningful decision points.
Gold body textReadability varies as gold text moves between different backgrounds.Use navy on ivory and ivory on navy for the main content. Check text contrast, visible focus and buttons at each background transition.
Hype-heavy copyDense all-caps passages and phrases such as “game-changing”, “BIG three” and “level up” compete with the tone of the artwork. Strong historical and scarcity claims need support.Use measured, specific copy that describes the object and experience. Remove unsupported “first in history” claims and keep availability statements tied to actual stock.
Footer destinations
High priority
The inspected About, Terms, Privacy and Cookie links use href="#" rather than actual destinations.Connect About to the real page and provide the applicable policy pages. Check every footer destination before publishing.
Hover-only card discoveryThe gallery reveal relies on hovering and does not offer an equivalent keyboard interaction.Make each card a focusable control. Support touch, keyboard and screen-reader labels, with visible focus and an explicit close action.
Old event promotionA May 2026 masterclass remains in the site material, although the review date is October 2026.Show current bookable events only. Move past events to an archive, or use a genuine interest form when no dates are confirmed.
Inconsistent product details
Resolve before launch
Page counts differ: 365 on the homepage, 345 on About and one postage listing, 328 on a direct-sale listing, and 350 at Collins.Confirm the actual edition and contents with Benjamin, then make one product specification consistent across the website and stockists. Do not guess which count is correct.
Split purchase pathThe linked shop separates a direct-sale product and a “with postage” product. Both reviewed listings show $117, which leaves the distinction unclear.Use one product page with clear fulfilment choices and shipping information at checkout. Confirm live pricing and delivery terms before implementing.
The free ebook and the physical cardsThe free ebook is a $0 “Add to cart” digital item. A prominent free offer can blur the distinction between the story and the physical oracle box set.Keep the homepage focused on the cards. Move the ebook offer to a separate page, discovered through a quiet footer link. Explain that it is a digital story sample, not the box set, and includes no cards or physical companion storybook. Describe the actual checkout steps accurately.
Page weight and plugin assetsThe inspected homepage references 33 stylesheets and 20 scripts, alongside a decorative PNG of about 1.97MB.Reduce unused assets, resize and compress imagery, and load social video only on request. Measure the rebuilt page; no Lighthouse score was established in this review.

Live-site observations: homepage, About, Wisdoms, e-book page and linked shop collection. Retail comparison: Collins listing. All inspected 13 October 2026; prices and stock can change.

Two fonts. A distinct mood.

Cormorant Garamond brings an elegant, literary feeling. Manrope keeps explanations, navigation and purchase controls easy to read.

Suggested typography

A new way
to see yourself.

Explore the relationships between Tarot, Astrology and the I Ching through 64 interconnected hexagonal cards.

Explore the page direction
  • Display headings — Cormorant GaramondWeight 500 or 600. Main desktop headline 72–88px; mobile 44–52px. Line height 1.02–1.08 and restrained letter spacing.
  • Section headings — Cormorant GaramondDesktop 44–56px; mobile 34–40px. Sentence case, with short line lengths.
  • Body and controls — ManropeBody 17–18px desktop and 16–17px mobile. Weight 400 or 500; line height 1.65–1.8. Buttons and navigation weight 600 or 700.
  • Small labels — Manrope11–12px with moderate tracking. Use uppercase sparingly, for brief labels rather than long paragraphs.
  • Logo and fallbacksKeep the existing distinctive logo if the original/licensed artwork is available. Use Georgia for serif fallback and Arial for body fallback.
  • Colour rolesNavy #0F1D2B · warm ivory #F5F0E7 · darker gold #A57836. Gold is an accent; main copy stays in high-contrast ink or ivory.

The values above are an initial design specification, to be refined against the final imagery and tested on mobile. This brief demonstrates the pairing with optional Google Fonts and readable local fallbacks.

04

Make the experience special.

The memorable interactions should grow out of the cards and the system. Keep them subtle, purposeful and usable.

01 · THE OPENING REVEAL

Let the cards connect.

Use a brief, slow arrangement of real hexagonal cards to reveal the connected structure. On mobile, show a stable composition first. Honour reduced-motion settings and avoid delaying access to the page.

02 · A SMALL INVITATION

Discover an archetype.

Let visitors choose one of three or six real cards and open a short, carefully written interpretation. Give it a clear label as a sample; keep it available by keyboard and touch. Link naturally to the guidebook.

03 · AN OBJECT IN THE HAND

Show how it feels.

Film hands placing cards, turning a card and opening the box and companion storybook. A quiet 15–25 second demonstration would explain the material product better than additional promotional paragraphs.

04 · THREE WISDOMS

Trace one relationship.

Use a simple three-part explainer for Tarot, Astrology and the I Ching, then show one authorised example of how they meet in a card. The teaching should come from Benjamin’s own explanations.

05 · A HUMAN MOMENT

Hear from the creator.

Place a real portrait beside a short account of Benjamin’s background. An optional, captioned 30–45 second introduction can establish warmth and purpose without making the entire page a video.

06 · LIGHT AND TEXTURE

Use atmosphere with restraint.

Try a very faint paper texture, a slow light shift on a card edge or a fine gold hexagonal rule. Keep text still and readable. Avoid busy starfields, cursor trails, constant parallax or decorative sound.

The detail that could make it unforgettable

A visitor places a card; another card connects; a meaningful pattern becomes visible. That is a direct expression of the product itself, and a stronger signature than generic mystical effects.

05

The creator deserves
a real presence.

Lead with Benjamin’s storytelling background, the work behind the system and a genuine portrait. Separate established credits from his own account of the project.

Benjamin Rose smiling and holding a gold tree hexagonal Creatrix card in front of The Creatrix Prophecy banner.
Best current creator candidate — provided by the user: Benjamin’s expression, the card in his hands and the branded setting connect the creator directly to his creation. The source photograph is copied unchanged, with a 4:5 display frame on the page. Open the original photograph. The Collins event banner remains a useful secondary historical source.

Portrait recommendation

Benjamin, smiling.
The creation in his hands.

This is the strongest current direction for the creator section: a welcoming expression, recognisable face and a direct connection to the physical object. The newly supplied photograph gives the section a clear portrait without relying on a cutout from an event advertisement.

Current image choice: use the original photograph provided by the user, shown here and in the homepage concept. The previously rejected, AI-marked website portrait remains excluded. No change has been made to Benjamin’s face, hands or the card in this source image.

The 4:5 page frame removes excess space above and below while preserving his face, card and hands; it does not alter the saved photograph. A clean image of Benjamin working with the cards would be a useful second asset. This research does not claim to have inspected every Google Images result.

Suggested website section · 90-word biography

The storyteller
behind the oracle.

Benjamin Rose is the creator of The Creatrix Prophecy, a divination system that brings Tarot, Astrology and the I Ching into a single visual language. His professional background is in screen storytelling: Ronin Films credits him as a writer, director and producer, with work across Australian television and film. Decades in the making, The Creatrix pairs 64 hexagonal archetype cards with a companion storybook. Through symbolic images and interconnected patterns, Rose invites readers to explore life’s cycles, reflect on their experience and discover new ways of seeing themselves and others.

Suggested editorial copy, grounded in Ronin Films’ Benjamin Rose biography, the author’s own About page and the Collins event description.

Established screen background

Ronin Films identifies Benjamin as a writer, director and producer. Its biography names Australian television work including G.P., Corelli, Heartlands and Echo Point, and film work including On the Edge and Over the Edge.

Primary distributor biography

Author and creator in Sydney

Benjamin’s public Facebook intro identifies him as the author of The Creatrix Prophecy and a digital creator, living in and from Sydney. His Skool profile also lists Sydney and identifies him as author and creator.

Benjamin’s public Facebook profile · Public Skool profile

Decades in the making

The official About page gives a personal development story, including a 1991 concept and completion in 2024. Its “35 years” wording is not fully consistent with those dates. “Decades in the making” is the sounder published phrasing until the timeline is confirmed.

Author’s own account

Claims to verify before featuring

The site’s account of a decade with Good Medicine, 15 years of SAFTV work and a Paul Bailey collaboration needs further corroboration if used as prominent credentials. Do not add “award-winning” or a formal spiritual-teacher title without a reliable basis.

How these links should appear on the site

Give visitors the official shop, current stockists and canonical social profiles. Feature a few relevant external references beside the claims they support. Keep historical events clearly dated.

A strong creator section needs a clean portrait, a concise story and verifiable credits. An exhaustive collection of badges and outgoing links would dilute that story.

07

The homepage, reimagined.

The physical cards lead throughout. A visitor should understand the box set, explore its artwork, meet its creator and reach one clear physical-product purchase path. The digital story is a separate offer on a separate page.

  1. A spacious, card-first opening

A clean wordmark, original card composition and one short headline. State the product plainly: a physical box set containing 64 hexagonal oracle cards and a companion storybook, connecting Tarot, Astrology and the I Ching. Offer “Explore the cards” and “Shop the box set”.

  2. The idea in motion

Show hands arranging the hexagonal cards, then explain the three traditions in a few lines. Give the visitor an immediate picture of how the physical system works.

  3. A small archetype discovery

Present three to six genuine cards with accessible click-to-open interpretations. Use this as a meaningful product sample, with approved copy and readable card details.

  4. The featured reader review

Use the supplied Instagram reel as a click-to-play feature with the reviewer’s attribution, a short factual introduction and a link to the original. Place it after the visitor understands the object.

  5. Benjamin, in his own world

Introduce the creator with a real portrait, the short biography and an optional captioned introduction. Let his screen storytelling background and long development journey add depth.

  6. What is inside the physical box

Make the 64 hexagonal cards and physical companion storybook the focus. Keep unconfirmed page counts, dimensions and materials out of the concept. Confirm specifications before publication, and explain price, shipping and fulfilment at the purchase destination.

  7. A final invitation to the cards

End the main homepage journey with the physical box set and a clear shop action. Avoid adding an ebook offer or free-book video that competes with the cards at this point.

  8. A quiet digital-story doorway, in the footer

After the main card journey, offer “Free ebook — digital story only” as a modest footer link to its own page. That page must explain that the free Part One story does not include oracle cards, the physical companion storybook or the box set, and that the $0 digital item uses the shop checkout. Keep the social and policy destinations useful and accurate.

First

Fix the credibility gaps

Replace the poster and watermarked assets; correct footer links, old events, conflicting product details and unclear checkout wording.

Next

Build a visual system

Use two fonts, consistent colours, larger readable text, genuine imagery and one coherent path through the page.

Then

Add the signature moment

Create the connecting-card reveal, accessible archetype sample and attributed review feature. Measure mobile speed after the rebuild.
